We saw an opportunity for change.

First, we solved our own problem.

Founders Alper Cakir and Asli Sonceley had accumulated years of experience consulting and designing for global brands and tech startups. The shop constantly evolved on its processes to kickstart a project, sync on strategy, and follow through its progress.

We had a lot of repeat documents and presentations to create. Custom design and development took up a lot of resources. Word processors never cut it because of their visual handicaps and limitations on web view. Definitely not agency level output.

As UX designers we know the impact of a well-designed web experience. Why should this kind of standard be exclusive to websites and apps? Why shouldn’t we set the bar high for our documents as well?

So, we started building Xtensio.

What drove over 150,000 people to Xtensio are the strategic and visual templates that get you started. They ask you the right questions, and guide you through your process. They unlock what’s encrypted in your brain and help you turn it into a beautiful communication piece.

Xtensio started off as a one pager creator for startups to visualize their company profile and show investors what they’re all about. Then came others. Personas, SWOT, Fact Sheet…
