Frequently Asked Questions
What is Xtensio?
Xtensio is a creative collaboration platform to design living documents, work together with internal and external teams, and flexibly share your work as digital presentations, responsive web pages or exportable PDF or PNGs.
What's a folio?
Folios are full-screen digital presentations, responsive web pages and exportable PDF or PNGs all-in-one. A folio can be anything from a brief business strategy exercise to a full-length presentation. Start with one of our templates, or create anything you need with the blank slate tool.
Your folios are live pages that you can edit and collaborate on with colleagues, clients and other key players. All of your changes—from dragging and dropping modules, to editing graphs, to changing colors— will save and sync instantly across devices. Here’s more on Making a Folio.
Do I have limits on how many templates I can try?
No. You can try all of our free templates with any of our plans. The limitations are only on your active folios. On the Free plan, you may have one active folio at a time. If you’d like to create another folio, you upgrade to one of our premium plans or delete the folio that’s currently active on your dashboard.
Is my data private and secure?
Yes. All Xtensio plans include 128 bit SSL encryption and backups to ensure your data is secure. Your work belongs to you. Your folios are private unless you decide to share them or make them public. Here’s more on the range of sharing options on Xtensio, from completely private to public.
Is Xtensio really Free?
Yes. You will never be asked to provide credit card information for Xtensio’s free account.
What would I get by upgrading to a premium plan?
By upgrading to our premium plans, you’ll create a private and branded workspace with your own URL where you, your team members and guests can create and collaborate on multiple presentations and documents, lock branding across your deliverables with the team style guide, streamline the creation process with custom templates, unlock exports, add password protection and customize individual shared links, and view folio stats to stay updated on all of your projects. Here’s more about our premium plans.
What would I use the usability testing report for?
UX design teams regularly conduct usability testing reports to gain a deeper understanding of their audience’s needs and frustrations and plan for future product optimizations and updates. You can use this template as a blueprint to hit the major strokes in the overall process of conducting usability testing, from sourcing participants to analyzing results.
What customers would be good participants?
You’ll want to have a variety of participants from different user segments so you can gain a better understanding of your user base as a whole. You can use the competitive analysis template to define your customer segments and choose the right variety of participants for your usability testing report.
How do I create an effective usability testing report?
Creating a strong usability testing report means doing the work to get the data you need. It will take time to define your methodology and collect and organize the results to make targetable action items. Use the instructional copy in the usability testing report template to guide you through the process.
Can I add colleagues to edit my usability testing report?
How do I share my usability testing report?
When you’re ready to share your usability testing report, choose between presenting it as a full-screen digital slideshow, sending it as a responsive web link or exporting your report as a PDF or PNG (premium feature). All of your share options are located at the top right of your edit screen. Learn more about the different ways to share your folios in this tutorial video.
