What is the Xtensio Referral Program?
The Xtensio Referral Program is a way for you to earn rewards by referring new users to Xtensio. Both you and the person you refer get $3 when they join, and you earn an extra $5 if they upgrade to a paid plan.
How do I join the Xtensio Referral Program?
If you have an Xtensio account, you are automatically enrolled in our Referral Program. Simply share any Xtensio link with your unique referral code attached to start earning. Here is your referral dashboard with your unique links to share.
Is the program available to everyone or just Xtensio users?
The program is available to anyone who has an Xtensio account.
Do I need to be on a paid plan to refer people?
No, you can be on any plan, including our free plan, to participate.
How do I find my referral code?
You can always find your code under the “Share and Earn” page. This link is under your profile menu on top right.
Where can I attach the referral code?
You can attach your referral code to the end of any Xtensio link. For example you can copy a template link, a blog post or one of your folios and append your code to it before you share.
Can I attach my referral code to any Xtensio link?
Yes, the referral code can be attached to any Xtensio URL.
Do I need to create new content to share, or can I use existing Xtensio links?
You can use existing Xtensio links. Just add your referral code to the end of the URL.
Is there a way to automatically add my referral code to Xtensio links?
We provide some of the most frequently shared links on your referral dashboard. For all other pages you would like to share (including your own content), you need to manually add your referral code to the links you share.
Also if you go to the templates page when you are logged in, all template preview links already have your referral code included.
How much will I earn for each referral?
You earn $3 for each new user that joins via your referral link and an additional $5 if they upgrade to a paid plan.
When will I receive the $3 bonus for a new signup?
The $3 bonus will be credited to your account immediately after the person you referred confirms their email and completes the signup process.
When will I get the extra $5 if my referral upgrades to a paid plan?
The additional $5 will be credited to your account once the referred user’s payment for the upgraded plan is successfully processed.
How can I redeem my credits?
Simply upgrade to a premium plan (no credit card required) and your credits will be automatically applied at checkout.
What happens if I cancel my plan?
Any unused credit will stay on your account until you upgrade again. Please note that unused credits expire 6 months after they are initially earned.
Is there a cap on how much I can earn?
There is no cap; you can refer as many people as you’d like.
How are earnings paid out?
Earnings can only be used as Xtensio credits for your own account.
Is there a minimum amount that needs to be earned before I can redeem?
No. If your credits cover the entire cost of your subscription, you don’t even need to add your credit card to upgrade. In case your credits cover your subscription fees partially, you can add your credit card to pay for the balance.
How can I track my referrals and earnings?
You can track your referrals and earnings through your referral dashboard.
Is there an expiration date for the referral code?
Your referral code does not expire. However unused credits expire 6 months after they were earned
Is there an expiration date for earned credits?
Yes, earned credits will expire if not redeemed within 6 months. If you have earned some credits, simply upgrade to a premium plan (no credit card required) and your credits will be applied to your account automatically. When no credits are left, you can add your credit card to keep your premium plan or downgrade to the free forever plan.
What if my referral forgot to use my code when signing up?
Your referral must click (or type) the link with your code before signing up. This makes your referral eligible up to 30 days. Unfortunately, we cannot retroactively apply referral codes.
How long is my referral link valid for after someone clicks on it?
When someone clicks on your referral link, a cookie is stored on their browser that lasts for 30 days. If they sign up for an account within those 30 days, both of you are eligible for the referral rewards.
Why hasn’t my account been credited yet?
Please allow up to 24 hours for referral bonuses to be applied. If you still haven’t received your bonus, contact our support team.
Is the referral program compatible with all browsers and devices?
Yes, the program is designed to work across all modern web browsers and devices.
Are there any restrictions on promoting my referral code?
While you’re free to share your code far and wide, spamming or using your code in paid advertising is not permitted.
Are there any geographical limitations to the program?
The program is open to participants worldwide unless prohibited by local laws.
Is there a policy against spamming my referral code?
Yes, spamming your code is a violation of our terms and could result in the deactivation of your referral code and account.
